Paintings by the lovely Edwyna Arey are populated by charming little farm critters, but don’t be surprised if you find a deeper message within — one that speaks to her own philosophy. Farming is a passion, and if you’re a supporter of Athens Locally Grown, chances are you’ve gotten your week’s worth of veggies handed to you by Edwyna, complete with her ever-present smile. Arey believes in community-supported agriculture, knowing where your food comes from and slowing down to appreciate it. And while her paintings are wonderful on their own artistic merit, that makes us love them even more. On display through August. (706) 353-6847.
